How to Design a Decorative Steel Grill using 3D CAD Software
Designing a decorative steel grill in the form of a flower vase combines artistic elegance with structural precision. Unlike standard geometric grill patterns, a vase-inspired design requires flowing curves, balanced proportions, and ornamental detailing that capture the beauty of floral forms while remaining suitable for steel fabrication. With SelfCAD, designers can transform creative concepts into precise 3D models using intuitive modeling and sculpting tools. Its integrated workspace makes it possible to sketch the vase silhouette, refine decorative elements, and prepare a clean, fabrication-ready design all in one platform. In this article, we will explore how to 3D design a decorative steel grill shaped like a flower vase using SelfCAD, from initial concept to final model preparation.
