160/365 | ¥10M Job Challenge - Reason for Living in Japan

Given the current trend, I believe IT engineers won’t disappear, but aside from development skills, integration capabilities and information security will become increasingly important. That’s why I’m aiming to move toward a consulting role. But before that, I need to achieve my personal goals—namely, earning 10 million yen salary and working remotely.

With the way AI is evolving, the IT industry will likely look very different in about five years. So my goal is to secure permanent residency in Japan within the next three years and be able to work as a freelancer or pursue projects I’m passionate about, without being tied to a work visa.

Of course, work is no longer just about myself—it's more about providing for my family. That’s why I need to reach these goals, no matter what.
