I'm a friendly, non-dev, cisgender guy from NC who enjoys playing music/making noise, hiking, eating veggies, and hanging out with my best friend/wife + our 3 kitties + 1 greyhound.
Ooooo, I'll check out the playlist Monty... sounds like a good one! I'm not familiar with "From a Window", so will keep my ears open for it.
The McCartney/Lennon combo is hard to beat when it comes to earworms... but also, I think Harrsion's "Here Comes the Sun" might just be the earwormiest Beetle's song out there.
If I think of any other McCartney or Lennon tunes for you to add, I'll let you know.

Yep, George had to compete with John and Paul for space on any album, and he didn't start writing songs until the other two were already cranking out hits, so he had to bring his A-game to get his songs recorded. "Something" is another good example of a Harrison earworm. Enjoy the playlist!

Oh totally, I've read a good deal about George's struggles to get his tunes included! And when he became a solo artist, he quickly released a double album, I'm thinking either because he had some rejected songs banked and ready to go or was just so ready to let loose as a songwriter that the songs flowed from him... maybe both!
"Something" is one of my favorite Beatles songs. There are some wonderful cover versions of it too... apparently, George wrote it while thinking about Ray Charles (not Pattie Boyd, haha!) and he gave it to Joe Cocker (who actually put it out on an album before the Beatles did... I still count it as a cover, haha). Ray Charles ended up playing it too and did an amazing job with it!
