I agree with Madza, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what I like might be different what you like so take my comments with a pinch of salt :)

I think there's some good points about the site and also some areas of improvement.

Here's the parts I liked:

  • The intro animation, the circle and how the purple bar animates in on load
  • That picture of you! It makes the site feel more personal
  • The neon effect on the text, it looks cool
  • The overall design of the work page
  • I like the design of the Resume button on the home page

Some areas that I didn't like so much:

  • The site isn't responsive, in most cases I think this is a must
  • I like a lot of the components (button, neon heading etc) but I don't feel that they work well together. You are picking too many different visual styles and trying to make them 'gel' together, it's better to keep it simple and pick just one theme.
  • I think there's too much animation
  • I would reduce the size of the menu fonts and the icons as per the image below
  • Do you want to share your instagram and facebook account with potential employers? Maybe just add social icons to your professional social accounts.
  • Remove the favourites section
  • Consider removing the awards and adding it at the end of the work page (without horizontal scrolling)

I hope the feedback is helpful and doesn't come across as overly critical!

Yeah you are right. To understand the mobile responsiveness, I decided to not use any css libraries like bootstrap. I know site is not that much responsive. Really appreciate your review. Thanks
