Add alerts Inside Google Meet

Goal: Get gentle nudges at exactly the right moments-without leaving your call.

Step 1 - Install & connect

  • Sign in with Google and install the extension during onboarding. Your default reminders are seeded automatically.
  • Join a Meet; the timer appears with milestones (halftime, overtime).

Step 2 - Keep or customize the reminders

  • Go to Dashboard → Reminders → Create and set:
  • Name (“Assign action items”),
  • Trigger time (“5 minutes before meeting ends”),
  • Message (what you want to prompt yourself/your team),
  • Sound on/off.

Step 3 - Run the call

  • Your alerts surface as in-call cards (optional chime). If the calendar end time changes, the timer adjusts.

Try one change today-add a “5 min left” card that literally says “Owners + dates now.” Watch how quickly your endings improve.
