Hey there, I'm Saurabh Kumar, and I'm excited to be part of the DEV community and participate in Hacktoberfest this year. As a software enthusiast, I've been following DEV for a while now, and I finally decided to join to share my knowledge, learn from others, and engage in open source contributions.
Background
I'm relatively new to Hacktoberfest but not to coding. I've been coding for a few years, working on personal projects and contributing to open source initiatives. It's been an incredible journey filled with learning and growth. I've always been fascinated by the power of open source and the collaborative nature of software development. DEV is the perfect platform to connect with like-minded individuals and share our experiences.
Pledge
My goal for this Hacktoberfest is to continue my journey of learning and contributing to open source. I see this as a great opportunity to give back to the community and sharpen my skills. I'll be both a contributor and a maintainer, depending on the project's needs.
As a contributor, I aim to:
- Contribute to at least four different open source projects, helping fix bugs or add new features.
- Enhance my coding skills, particularly in languages and frameworks that I'm not as familiar with.
- Learn from others and collaborate effectively with the open source community.
