This simple tree to build something helps a lot. I tried before using Trello, but it's easy to forget the big picture of what you are builing.

Yeah I used to use Trello too but I don't find tools like that add much value if you're working on a project alone (which is how most MVPs are created). They just become another thing to think about (where should this idea go, etc.), instead of focusing on getting things done.
