Hey everyone! 🌟 It's been an incredible Hacktoberfest 2023 journey, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the experience. I'm Abhisek Panda, a passionate contributor to open-source projects, and this year marked my 2nd participation. Highs and Lows:
This month has been a rollercoaster ride filled with highs and a few challenging moments. It was a real "Aha!" moment that reaffirmed my love for open-source collaboration.
Of course, there were a few hurdles too. Some problems felt like unsolvable puzzles, but I learned that patience and teamwork can overcome even the most daunting challenges. In those cases, I reached out to the community for help, and the support I received was phenomenal.
Growth:
Before Hacktoberfest 2023, my skillset was Python, SQL, and Web Development. But after contributing to various projects and collaborating with amazing developers, my skills have grown immensely. I've learned so many things that are code + non-code and my perspective on learning and career goals has evolved.
This experience has ignited a new passion in me, and I'm more determined than ever to continue my journey of personal and professional growth through open-source contributions. The skills I've gained and the connections I've made during this Hacktoberfest will undoubtedly shape my future endeavours.
