I recently finished reading 5am Club and Atomic Habits, while I don't plan to wake at 5am both books speak of a good morning routine so for the first hour when I wake up before work I go for a run (about 30min), practice some mindfulness using Calm app (10min) then finally eat a good breakfast and wash ready to start my day (20min).
I have found my mood and general happiness to be higher and feel very productive when I login to work where before this I would wake up just before I logged on and glug down coffee reading emails while I wake up.
It surprised me how much better I felt, I have a dog as well, so he makes sure I have a daily walk in a park, I generally do the afternoon walk as soon as I finish work which I have found as a great way to disconnect from office/work life.

Hi Andrew, thats a great morning routine! :) Good habits go a long way! I also feel a lot better with good food and nature walks :)
