Try to have a small subset of your target users and discuss with them, not showing your solution but discussing about the problem they have and you are solving. After that you will know if there is a real need.
Okay! I got it.
My problem lies in the abstract way I am going to use to discuss with them, without revealing my solution and by get the essentials informations.
Do you have any idea?
You can start with. "How do you fix XXXX issue in your activities ?", "How does the others (competitor) do ?"
Try to make propositions of your solution by arguing with him/her based on what he/she says. Don't talk like you solution is already there or you know the context too much, just speak like a complete profane.
