Very interesting perspective I had the same feeling of imposter syndrome. When I first started to write, mentor & just breaking into the startup world as a developer.
It's not just work either. Many people encounter it in personal areas, most likely "I'm not an adult. I can't really be an adult, can I?" or "They can't really be interested in me romantically, can they?"
The mind is a complex thing and that's both good and bad.
