Apple’s $95M Siri Lawsuit Settlement: What You Need to Know
Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement after a class-action lawsuit claimed Siri was secretly recording users without permission and sharing data with third parties. Eligible users owned a Siri-enabled Apple device between Sept 17, 2014 — Dec 31, 2024 and may receive up to $20 per device (max 5 devices). Claims can be filed online using a code from an email/postcard, or by submitting device details and proof of purchase if no code was received. Despite denying wrongdoing, Apple settled to avoid trial.
