I randomly happened to come across a reminder from 2013 reminding me to start learning to code. Now 7 years later I am celebrating 6 months at a job I love as a Frontend Web Developer and I have a degree in Computer Science.
7 years ago I was depressed and was going through a really empty time in my life. I decided to start coding because I remembered, as a kid, enjoying to play around with an old html website builder I forgot the name of that would generate html for you (must have been end of 90s beginning of 2000s).
I never could have imagined how that decision would transform my life completely. I am not a great story teller, or else I would write my own article here about it. But This is something I would consider one of the biggest wins of my life. I wrote a tweet about this here.
