Hey there! I completed my Android Developer certification last year from Google. I say it depends on the company you're applying for, if they need an experienced developer they might ask about a certification of big names like Google.
In India there's a 50-50% amount of importance. Some recruiters want it and some don't.

I do think so. I haven't done their certification for mobile as I do mobile development only occasionally. But I did the cloud related certificate.
