As a developer i am tired. Tired of what? well, ask yourself! i am not telling you BALLS.
Okay so learning to "write code" in 2025, was not easy. I myself went through my chakras activations to realize few kinky things, that we devs need to adopt to learn "writing production grade code" without wasting time and energy.
THE FIRST CHAKRA - GOD's RESTING
Yes, people sitting on chair table, suits donned up, with two monitors, one mouse and a mechanical keyboard?? BROOOO? What's your plan? are you done?
It's just you and your laptop in this journey mate. Sell all of your shit. Get on the bed you sleep, place and curve your back in the most comfortable position. Get pillows on your back and sides . People looking at you should have an impression in their mind that you have gooned twice in past two hours. Rest like a GOD. You have nothing to lose when you are learning. Put the laptop on your lap and start getting those balls begin to heat. yeah feels good! right. Now we are talking!
THE SECOND CHAKRA - GOD's PIVOT
Watching tutorials? Dude laying down comfy on bed and staring at your youtube tutorial screen actually makes you look like a real gooner. Remember, we are not! -we are just pretending to be one! Never let them know your next move. GOD's analogy is mine. GOD creates. GOD creates while he rests. Stop consuming and start building your world in the form of beautiful function code blocks. functions that obey your commands. You are not the gooner- you make the code blocks goon.
THE THIRD CHAKRA - GOD's HOBBY
Since the environment around, is perfect, we start building while learning. Find a giant hot open-source project with at least 50 micro services and 40 thousand lines of code. Clone it, Don't fear! this code is just like a hot chick with huge jugs in the bar restaurant. Most probably out of your league. Possibility always exist where probability is. The most entertaining outcome is the most likely. If you are waiting the for dart to hit, without even throwing one? be my guest. Start approaching the code slowly, feed the docs to AI and get a high-level summary of the code.
pick one small service and start coding along, ask AI questions, get into details. Keep this pattern till you build one service. Repeat again build another service. Repeat until it becomes a dopamine enhancer hobby. The faster you finger you keyboard, the harder the code goons!
Repeat!
