DEVASC 200-901: Leading Network Programmability – My 591Lab

DEVASC 200-901: My Take on 591Lab

I went from making $95k as a Network Engineer to $158k as a DevNet Associate Specialist in just 8 months

Back in March 2025, I was a regular network engineer in Dhaka making $95k, you know, setting up routers and switches the old way. But I saw that every company was moving to networks you could program. I wanted in! The Cisco DevNet Associate (DEVASC) 200-901 cert was the way to get those DevNet jobs. It shows you know your stuff with Python, APIs, Ansible, and Cisco platforms like DNA Center. The test isn't easy - lots of questions, a time limit, and a fee and not everyone passes the first time. But without it, my resume wouldn't even be looked at for those higher-paying automation jobs.

Then I found 591Lab’s guide called “DEVASC 200-901” at their website. It gave me everything I needed like what's on the test , free practice labs, how to answer the questions, how it affects your salary, and stories from students.

Why the 591Lab Guide is Great

Up-to-date — Covers everything, like the latest Python and APIs.

Free Labs — They show you how to set up practice labs (saved me a ton of money).

Good Questions — Lots of practice questions that are like the real thing.

Automation Focused — They teach you how to automate with Python.

People Pass — Most 591Lab students pass the test the first time.

Real Stories — They have stories of people who got good jobs.

The Good: Free guide, practice labs, no BS—just what you need to pass and get a good job.

The Bad: You need some Python knowledge (but they help you with that).

This guide changed my career. I now automate network stuff, cut down setup time with scripts, and help with integrations. If you're a network engineer making under $110k, check out the 591Lab guide and Cisco DevNet. It’s a quick way to boost your salary and skills.
