GTA V and GTA Online are coming to PS5 on March 15th. How do you transfer your history and character to the console?

On March 15, the two games will be released on Sony's latest generation of gaming consoles with new enhanced versions. To celebrate the event, Sony is revealing the procedure to follow to transfer your existing saves to PS5.
Keep your gaming hours intact
Players of GTA V, the only title in the series that will be able to tell three generations of consoles, have spent many hours walking the streets of San Andreas and it would be a shame to lose everything when you have the opportunity to resume the adventure. To do this, there is a simple solution available today. First you need to make sure that you have a Rockstar Games Social Club account. Then go to the game GTA V, then in the menu press "Load save". For GTA Online, the procedure is slightly different. If there's no manipulation to do, you'll still have to wait until March 15th to migrate all of your characters' progress (including stats, vehicles, properties, weapons, clothes, and jobs you've created). To get it, you just need to have a Rockstar Games Social Club account and play the game on PS5.
GTA Online will be free temporarily
Both games will be available for download starting March 15th. They will benefit from improvements in terms of content, performance, and graphics. On GTA Online, Rockstar warns that there will be "new vehicles, a new addition to Los Santos Car Meet: Hao's Special Works, as well as a new job-building feature".

Finally, PS5 players will be able to download GTA Online for free for 3 months after its release on the console.
