Well seems like you clearly don't have any idea of what I'm talking about and also pair programming with a peer is not the same as someone watching over your shoulder for the sole purpose of evaluating what you do. Also, I'm a hired worker for the last 10+ years (I never had any issues getting jobs or passing interviews) and none of my jobs had live coding/whiteboarding (coz I rejected such interviews as its not worth my time, regardless of the company) and my work colleagues and OSS colleagues know about my skills so what is your point?
