Day 1133 : Tight

liner notes:

  • Professional : Another day that flew by! Had a few back to back meetings. It was good to see everyone and what they are working on. Replied to a review of a blog post that I wrote. Spent a bunch of time researching a question from the community. I never really thought of their use case so it took me a minute to see possible ways of possibly making it work.

  • Personal : I was super determined, not successful, but determined to finish putting the enclosure for my large format 3D printer. haha I got the base and top done, but the next step was to cut some strips to help make the enclosure more air tight but I was tired and it was getting late. Ended the night getting the social media posts done for the projects I picked up on Bandcamp and putting together tracks for the radio show.

A scenic coastal landscape featuring a rocky cliff overlooking a calm ocean with gentle waves. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge is visible in the distance, spanning across the water under a soft sunset sky. Silhouettes of people are visible on the cliff's edge. The location is San Francisco, California, United States.

I was originally watching a video of the assembly of the enclosure and it's like 13 minutes. I felt kind of bad that it's taking me so long. haha Then I looked through the pretty thick manual that came with the enclosure and there was a section that said to take a break. haha I've just got the sides to go and just hook up things and should be done. Sidenote: the manual is pretty good with clear steps. Going to use it as a reference if I have a question from watching the video. After this, going to work on the radio show and website for the project who want to order the project. Speaking of project, I've been doing test prints for one of the items. Good news is that it's working out pretty well. Bad news it takes 9 hours to print! haha Going to get to work.

Have a great night!

4 Playwright Locators Explained: Which One Should You Use?

- locator('.cta'): Fast but brittle
- getByText('Click me'): User-facing, but can miss broken accessibility
- getByRole('button', { name: 'Click me' }): Most robust, best for a11y
- getByTestId('cta-button'): Stable, but ignores UX
