  • Saturday : Stayed up late the night before to finish up some orders so I could ship them out before the radio show. Needless to say, I was super tired, but I was able to get to the post office in time to ship the orders out. After that, I got some food and worked on the radio show for a little bit. Next thing I know, it was show time! I always get a rush of energy when I do the radio show. Had a really good time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

  • Sunday : Did my study sessions over at https://untilit.works In addition to my normal tasks, I fought with a couple of my 3D printers to get them working right. Good news is that I was able to fix one, but switching out the nozzle. The other one may be clogged. I'll figure it out later. There's orders I need to fulfill. haha. The other printer is a little more tricky. After MANY attempts, I think I may have narrowed the issue I'm having to "wet" filament. To test it, I set a print to run overnight so I can see what it would look like in the morning.

  • Professional : Pretty good day. Worked on a new blog post. Had a meeting with my manager. Did some research on some upcoming work.

  • Personal : So, the overnight prints, printed completely, but the top layer was kind of rough. I tried to print the model a couple of times and had issues. At this point, after reading some forum posts, I'm really thinking it's due to the filament not super bone dry. The larger 3D printer had a pretty terrible error where the nozzle dug into not only the build plate, moved it out the way, and dug into the print bed underneath. The plate is ruined, but the cleaned up the bed as much as I could and put another plate on top and started another print. So far, so good. Hope it stays that way. haha At least, until I can complete these orders.

I'm pretty tired. haha Got the last set of prints for the night going. Got a couple of hours left. Got the filament in the dryer to go overnight so when I come in tomorrow, I can place them right into the printer and try to print the model. I have no clue what else I can do to make this work again. We'll see. While the prints are going, I'm going to assemble some items that come with the orders. I've also been looking at these smart glasses that are open source and the best part is that you can create web applications that will run on the glasses. They are supposed to be able to live stream. That is really interesting to me. I may place a pre-order and reach out to them to see if I can get an early pair to test out. After assembling these items and the printing is finished, I'm going to do some more research into the glasses and maybe place an order. I'm out. Want to try and get as much done as I can before the sun goes down. Tonight, I may call it early and finally finish watching "Ironheart".
