# Preface:

This is the fifteenth book I've read this year. I tend to read this type of management book more slowly because I often use them as a dictionary to look up related issues. I bought this book along with two or three other management books, but I would read a bit, take a break, and then come back to it. After a while, I would slowly contemplate many details and try out some parts.

Leadership is influence,
not a feeling that can be sought but not found,
not a long-term life cultivation,
but a set of tools,
that can be easily applied to every aspect of life.

Whether a person has leadership, you can tell by the pain index!
If you want to be happy in life and have future development, you must learn leadership.

Based on years of knowledge accumulation and practical experience, Fan Deng proposes a complete set of leadership concepts to help business people master more practical management skills and build an efficient team. He advocates treating leadership as a toolkit, operating from nine aspects. As long as you master the essentials, ordinary people can become outstanding leaders.

### Creating Good Team (Company) Rules

- Hanyu Yishe's "Starfish Model"
  - Give each branch 100,000 yuan to allocate for clothing selection and sales. Select styles suitable for the branch from the brands represented by the head office.
  - 30% of profits are handed over to the company.
  - 70% is used by the branch itself.
- SF Express's one-stop experience
  - Give each courier a POS machine, so they can receive packages in addition to delivering them.

# Thoughts

There are some chapters in this book that I find quite practical. Perhaps I also have similar management issues that I need to think about, so I will use this book to help me think. The following issues I have selected are quite worth thinking about, and I hope they are also important issues for you:

- Goal setting for managing teams
- Opportunities and methods for setting goals
- How to set effective goals with colleagues (SMART)
- How to have a conversation with colleagues (Six Thinking Hats)

This book organizes many useful concepts and combines the author's management experience over the years. I find it very practical, and many related common sense are also very interesting.
