🔸 Norway already qualified for the quarter-finals.
🔸 Switzerland and Finland are fighting for second place.
🔸 Iceland is eliminated but can still affect the group by beating Norway.

🔸 Switzerland creates more big chances and scores more goals.
🔸 Switzerland only needs a draw to qualify; Finland must win.

Insight>
Finland leads in game control, possession, and pass accuracy, showing stable match management.
On the other hand, Switzerland creates more big chances and scores more goals per game, demonstrating strong attacking power.
Switzerland only needs a draw to reach the quarter-finals, so they might play more defensively, but having the home advantage gives them a psychological edge.
Finland must win, so they are likely to play more aggressively.

Norway vs Iceland: Match Stats

Stat Norway Iceland
Goals per game 2.0 0.0
Goals conceded 1.0 1.5
Shots per game 13.5 12.5
Shots on target 3.0 3.0
Expected Goals (xG) 1.31 1.035
Big chances 3.5 0.5

🔸Iceland has not scored yet.
🔸Norway leads the group and is expected to win or draw.

Insight>
Norway shows a clear advantage in expected goals (xG) and big chances, demonstrating sharp and efficient attacking power. They have a strong scoring ability, averaging about 2 goals per game, and create many more big chances than Iceland.
On the other hand, Iceland has not scored yet and has very limited attacking opportunities. Although they have a good number of shots, they create few clear chances, which lowers their attacking efficiency.
Considering this, Norway is very likely to win or at least draw the match, thanks to their stable game management and strong offense..

Group A Quarter-final Predictions

Position Team Note
1st Norway Already qualified
2nd Switzerland Needs only a draw to qualify
Finland Must win to advance

♦️In the last group matches, Switzerland vs Finland is the key game to decide who advances. Norway looks strong at the top.
