Do you use nothing more than notebook and pen to sketch out basic flowcharts and diagrams for your pre-planning stage before then writing some pseudo-code and then get into actual code writing...?
Or... do you have actual tools / IDE features for pre-planning?

One tool that I've found pretty useful for planning flow (and functionality, to a degree) is draw.io. Helps me to identify the pages I need and pathways that needs to be taken to get there.
