This is a submission for the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge Presented by Google AI
What This Portfolio Contains
This portfolio is not a collection of projects or demos.
It is a governed system of human-intelligence infrastructure for AI oversight.
Core artifacts include:
Canonical Governance Glossary
Upstream definitional authority governing all downstream standards, audits, and licenses.HHI_GOV_01 — Longitudinal Behavioral Governance Standard
A versioned governance framework for evaluating AI systems over time, rather than snapshot performance.Language & Interaction Governance Layer
Controls how language is used, evaluated, and enforced across systems.
Each artifact is versioned, dependency-bound, and audit-defensible.
No component functions independently.
Why Governance Comes Before Agents
AI agents amplify behavior.
If governance is not defined first, behavior scales without accountability.
This portfolio treats:
- Language as infrastructure
- Interaction as a governed surface
- Time as a validation mechanism
Agents are downstream.
Governance is upstream.
About Me
I am the founder of Hollow House Institute, an AI governance and compliance initiative focused on treating human behavior, language, and interaction as long-term infrastructure rather than short-term optimization targets.
My work centers on a single operational premise:
Time turns behavior into infrastructure.
Rather than evaluating AI systems only by performance metrics or model outputs, I design governance frameworks that track how systems behave over time—how language is used, how interactions accumulate risk, and how decisions compound into structural outcomes.
The Hollow House Institute portfolio reflects this approach through:
- Canonical governance definitions
- Longitudinal behavioral governance standards
- Language and interaction control frameworks
This work is intended for compliance leaders, governance teams, and system architects who require audit-defensible, infrastructure-grade oversight rather than advisory guidelines or experimental tooling.
Portfolio (Live Application)
Below is the live portfolio application, deployed to Google Cloud Run.
Label: dev-tutorial=devnewyear2026
👉 https://hhi-portfolio-44028571603.us-central1.run.app/
The application demonstrates:
- Governance as infrastructure, not aspiration
- Explicit human decision boundaries
- Visible stop authority
- Dependency on canonical, versioned language

Public portfolio demonstrating dependency on governed language
Each repository is versioned, scoped, and explicitly limited to prevent authority drift.
What This Is Not
❌ Not an AI agent
❌ Not a chatbot
❌ Not legal advice
❌ Not automated enforcement
❌ Not a thought piece
This is operational governance infrastructure.
Closing
AI systems fail when language drifts.
Language drifts when authority is unclear.
Governance fails when definitions are optional.
This portfolio demonstrates a path where governance is structural, inspectable, and upstream—
before agents, before automation, before harm.
