Hey everyone,
I just launched my first micro SaaS called ReplyStickr, and I want to share a bit about the journey and how I built it.
ReplyStickr is a small but handy tool for content creators and marketers who want to boost engagement on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
It generates realistic reply stickers or comment boxes styled exactly like the ones on these platforms — no more fiddling with Canva or awkward screenshots.
Why build this?
When I started out helping creators grow their accounts, I noticed that creating these organic-looking comment reply stickers was a huge pain point.
People usually screenshot comments and crop them, or design from scratch in Photoshop — time-consuming and not beginner-friendly.
So I decided to build a tool that simplifies this process. With ReplyStickr, you can generate Instagram-style comments, question boxes, and answer boxes — all from a single platform.
How I built it
I used a simple tech stack — mainly Next.js and a little magic with html2canvas to capture the UI and turn it into images. Also, I built it with vibe coding principles, focusing on fast iteration and clean UX.
It’s pretty minimalist but functional. The goal was speed and ease of use, not a massive feature set.
Why I priced it as a one-time payment
Honestly, I hate recurring payments. I wanted this to be accessible to everyone starting out, so I priced ReplyStickr at a flat $5 one-time fee. No subscriptions, no hidden costs — just a small tool that solves a real problem.
What’s next?
I’m testing Twitter/X tweet styles and plan to add more platform support based on feedback. For now, it’s a humble tool trying to make creators’ lives easier.
If you’re a creator or marketer tired of wasting time on designing fake comment replies, maybe give ReplyStickr a look.
And if you’re a developer, I hope this encourages you to build simple, focused tools that solve niche problems.
Feel free to ask me about the tech or the building process. I’m happy to share!
