In such cases, the QA team struggles to reproduce the issue precisely, while frontend and backend teams each see only their own slice of information. Maybe someone spots an API parsing error, but without a clear cause-and-effect relationship with what the frontend user saw. In traditional workflows, handling this type of report often results in back-and-forth emails or poorly detailed tickets with fragmented logs, plus long calls filled with awkward silence.

We know debugging works best when the application is well-tested, with automated and collaborative processes. In this context, integrating tools capable of recording error sessions and associating logs, traces, and request/response data in a shared way (as in this case) enables the team to reconstruct every critical step leading to the issue. And with annotations that allow every team member to add notes, hypotheses, and visual highlights directly on the timeline, you get technical discussion and shared knowledge without scattering information across Slack channels and emails.
