Question: How can I improve views on my ad networks (CPM)?

I have a developer blog with lots of technical articles – the code to text ratio is 4 to 1. I have a pretty low CTR rate, and I have 90% desktop visits vs 10% mobile visits. I have always assumed that my website's audience is more “desktop-inclined” as the mobile version is highly optimized.

I currently use CarbonAds and Ethical Ads, both with similar earnings (so I can't quit one over the other).

What are my options here (other than just to increase my traffic)?
