How I Built My First Personal Website

Building my first personal website was an important step in my journey as a web and application developer.

My name is Hussein Saad, an Iraqi web and application developer who started learning programming through self-study. After learning the basics of HTML and CSS, I decided to build a simple personal website to practice what I had learned and to better understand how the web works.

As I progressed, I became interested in application development as well. I started exploring how applications are built, how user interfaces are designed, and how functionality is connected to real user needs. This helped me expand my skills beyond websites and think more broadly about software development.

At the beginning, I faced challenges in organizing the structure and layout of projects, both for websites and applications. Through experimentation and continuous practice, I gradually improved my understanding of development fundamentals and how to build clean and user-friendly products.

Creating projects was not just about writing code. It helped me develop problem-solving skills, consistency, and patience. Each small improvement motivated me to continue learning and building more web and application projects.

I previously shared my learning experience as a developer on the Arabic platform Hsoub IO, where I talked about my beginnings, the challenges I faced, and how I worked on improving my technical skills over time.
