Introducing Lily - a front end engineering agent you work with through email

This is a submission for the Postmark Challenge: Inbox Innovators.

What I Built

Lily is an AI front end developer who works 24/7, ships pixel-perfect UIs, and never needs coffee breaks. You can work with her now by emailing lily@designer.universalinterfaces.com -- no account necessary.

When Lily builds you something, it's automatically synced to your Universal Interfaces account, where you can directly edit the code, add a custom domain, work with other team members, or further iterate on the front end in real time with Lily.

If you don't have an account on Universal interfaces, Lily will automatically make one for you, and send you temporary credentials. (In doing so, since you sent an email from your inbox to Lily, we can immediately validate that the email is real and avoid the risk of the message bouncing).

Demo

Demo available at https://universalinterfaces.com/agent. From there you can message Lily directly, or watch a short video of me show how it works.

How I Built It

Lily is built in vanilla rails + js, and uses Postmark's inbound email processing to handle the message flow. Lily is built on top of Universal Interfaces, another project that I've been (solo) building and maintaining for the past few months.
