  • CSS4 is not a thing, it doesn't exist: dev.to/afif/when-we-will-have-css4...

  • Unlike CSS2, CSS3 modules are supported by many browsers --> this is false, CSS3 is build over CSS2 so all the browsers need to first support CSS2 before talking about CSS3. The core of CSS3 is the CSS2.1 Specification.

  • CSS2.1 is not a variation of CSS. CSS2.1 is the specification that defines CSS2 so CSS2.1 and CSS2 are the same thing. We don't talk about variation but levels and we have only 3 Levels :CSS1, CSS2 and CSS3

This post is a copy-paste from an article that is available online and has been replicated many times without proper credit. This time, the author didn't even format it or remove the "More details" from wherever it was copied from.

You are right, I found a copy here: javatpoint.com/css-interview-quest... and here: career.guru99.com/pdf/top-50-cssca... and here: quizlet.com/258023713/more-css-que... .. I think the Job posting and the recruiter you talked about got inspired from such questions to ask for CSS4 experience :p (or may he's the one who did the quiz)
