18 Programming YouTube Channels that you shouldn't miss

Hey there!

Here are a few helpful programming Youtube channels that I have been following for years together, and has helped me in all aspects of Programming and Web Development.

Lets Begin! The list is in no particular order.

  1. The Net Ninja
    Posts tutorial videos on various web development technologies. A great instructor, favourite of many

  2. Derek Banas
    Posts tutorials, live streams, gaming, app dev and a whole lot of technologies

  3. Google Chrome Developers
    Official updates on Google Chrome, keynotes, tutorials, Podcasts and more

  4. Fireship.io
    Known for his short and valuable videos, like X in 100seconds. He also posts tips about the tools that developers use. Great visuals in his video

  5. Web Dev Simplified
    Makes tutorial videos, talks about his opinion on various web dev topics

  6. Traversy Media
    Makes popular web dev tutorial crash courses, talks about his perspective, gives tips, makes motivational videos (from a developer point of view, not Gary Vee kind of videos)

  7. Edureka
    Contains many crash courses on a lot of technologies, covering a wide domain apart from web development

  8. Hitesh Choudhary
    Makes a lot of Programming videos courses, personal opinion videos, "What is" videos and regular live streams and is very active.

  9. Dev Ed
    He makes a lot in person vlog videos, humourous, knowledgeable and entertaining. Teaches web development, delivers his opinion on websites

  10. Free Code Camp
    A Treasure of a complete courses of various domains, with No Ads, a lot of live streams, quality content while not compromising quantity. A collaboration of various content creators

  11. Academind
    Actively posts tutorial videos, X vs Y videos, shares his own opinion on web dev technologies, knows what he speaks and is knowledgeable, a great instructor

  12. Stefan Mischook
    Shares his personal experience, his opinion on topics and technologies. He has a great video and audio quality in his videos.

  13. LearnCode.academy
    Makes tutorial series of videos, shares tips on web development and his personal opinion on topics

  14. Programming with Mosh
    Makes programming courses and crash courses, shares his opinion on web development and other domains too

  15. Telusko
    Initially I observed Him make a lot of Java videos, but now we can observe a lot of web development videos and JavaScript videos. He also shares his opinion on new emerging technologies

  16. Colt Steele
    Makes tutorial videos and crash courses. He also has courses on various topics

  17. Joma Tech
    Humourous, quality, entertaining content creator from the Silicon Valley. Makes videos of himself talking about or interviewing people. Good quality content

I think I know whom you speak of, and I would agree. A couple of these are more "for the views" style of entertainment and can be dangerous if taken too seriously

I hear you. Yeah I agree. But there were a few videos of theirs which were educative, hence I didn't want to miss them, and also as developers I thought it's good to have respect for all, as even that content creation that they're doing is difficult and needs dedication.

I really like codingarden ( youtube.com/c/CodingGardenWithCJ ).
He used to do livestreams on YT and Twitch but not he only does Twitch and vod them on YT. But i learn stuff while watching something that is entertaining (altough the vods could be very long!)
