Realise that you are the presentation and not those slides. Slides are there to support you in your presentation and not the other way around. Let the audience focus on you and stop making too fancy slides.
I was recently at an AWS conference where the presenter turned her back to the audience and just started reading the bullet points off the big screen. Not the best presentation style.
