Hi dev.to! 👋
I just joined this platform and decided to run a small experiment: sharing my GitHub portfolio to see what kind of visibility a "regular" developer can get with independent projects, without a pre-existing community or built-up following.
➡️ Here’s my Github Profile
Don’t expect anything groundbreaking: it’s nothing special I say that with total honesty but I put effort into it, tried to keep the code clean, and made the projects as readable and usable as possible. There are definitely more mature and structured projects out there, but this is mine.
Why this post?
- I want to understand if posting on Dev.to can help bring visibility to open source projects.
- I’m curious if other developers are in the same situation: good code that gets ignored due to lack of visibility channels.
- I’d love to get honest feedback.
If you feel like taking a look, letting me know what you think, or even just dropping a ⭐ on something you find useful or interesting, that would already mean a lot.
Tips on how to improve my GitHub or what kind of things to post here on Dev.to are also very welcome! 🙏
If you're in a similar situation and feel like sharing your GitHub profile too, I'd genuinely love to check it out!
Thanks for reading this far,
just another dev
