I’m building Vendly — a simplified, performance-first e-commerce platform — and I’ve decided to build it in public.
Vendly exists to solve a problem I’ve seen repeatedly:
small businesses want to sell online, but they get trapped in complex platforms, endless plugins, and expensive monthly add-ons just to access basic features.
Vendly’s goal is simple:
- Provide a strong e-commerce foundation
- Deliver a polished, distraction-free experience across web and mobile
- Offer a generous free trial
- Keep pricing affordable
No plugin chaos. No bloated dashboards. No dark UX patterns.
I’ll be sharing:
- System design decisions
- UI/UX experiments
- Architecture tradeoffs
- Wins, failures, and real metrics
If you’re interested in e-commerce, SaaS architecture, or product-led design — follow along.

This really resonates. I’ve seen so many small businesses struggle not because e-commerce is hard, but because the tools are overloaded and confusing.
Starting with a clean core, fair pricing, and a real free trial already puts Vendly in a good direction. Building it in public and sharing the tradeoffs is a big plus too — that transparency builds trust early.
Looking forward to seeing how this evolves. Good luck with the build 👏
