I do not have experience of the monitors you mention, but I do use Dell ultrasharp and LG equivalents at home and at work and can say that in general, the Dells are better equipment.
I can also say that macs tend to misidentify or not pick up Dells more than LGs, though that might be confirmation bias.
MacOS does not work very well with external monitors compared to other OS, so if you think you might unplug them and plug them back in more than a couple of times a day, or if you use a usb-c adaptor then get used to a life of frustration.
