Meetings Are Quietly Destroying Founders and Freelancers — I Built a Fix

Let’s talk about a problem most founders and freelancers normalize — even though it’s quietly draining their time, energy, and output.

Meetings.

Long ones. Repetitive ones. Pointless ones.

I’ve personally sat with a single client for 3–5 hours in one day.

Not because the work needed it — but because the process did.

Reviewing things live.

Repeating explanations.

Recording manually.

Taking notes while trying to think.

By the end of the day, I got paid a little… and lost everything else:

  • Focus
  • Mental energy
  • Actual productive hours

That trade-off is broken.

And it’s a huge problem for certain fields.

Why This Is a Serious Problem (Not Just an Inconvenience)

For founders and freelancers, time is the product.

Yet meetings:

  • Fragment attention
  • Force context switching
  • Kill deep work
  • Create invisible burnout

Worse, most meeting outcomes are lost the moment the call ends:

  • Notes are incomplete
  • Recordings are unorganized
  • Decisions aren’t tracked
  • Follow-ups are forgotten

You get paid once.

But you pay with hours of future productivity.

That’s not sustainable.

The Core Insight

The problem isn’t meetings themselves.

The problem is that humans are doing work machines should be doing during meetings.

So I flipped the model.

What if the meeting handled itself?

What I Built: A Total Meeting Analyzer

I built a system that joins your meeting with you and handles everything you shouldn’t be doing.

Here’s what it does:

  • Attends meetings automatically
  • Takes structured notes of everything
  • Records video:
    • Individually (per participant)
    • Combined (full meeting)
  • Records audio:
    • Individually
    • Combined
  • Tracks attendance
  • Measures speaking time accurately
  • Logs actions and participation
  • Analyzes insights from the conversation
  • Generates a clean, usable summary after the meeting ends

And here’s the part that changes everything:

After the meeting is over, you can chat with the system and ask anything about the meeting.

Examples:

  • “What decisions were finalized?”
  • “Who talked the most?”
  • “What did the client say about pricing?”
  • “Summarize action items for me.”

No rewatching.
No scrubbing recordings.
No guessing.

Why This Actually Matters

This isn’t about saving 10 minutes.

It’s about:

  • Reclaiming mental energy
  • Reducing cognitive load
  • Letting founders and freelancers focus on real work
  • Turning meetings into assets, not drains

Instead of meetings interrupting your workflow, they become indexed knowledge.

Works Across Platforms

The system is designed to work across:

  • Zoom
  • Google Meet
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Cisco Webex
  • Slack (calls)

No platform lock-in.
No special behavior required from participants.

It just works.

Final Thought

Clients will always want meetings.

That won’t change.

But wasting hours because of meetings?
That’s optional now.

I built this so founders and freelancers can stop paying for meetings with their sanity.
