Angular 19 will officially release on Tuesday, November 19th. As expected, last week didn’t bring many new announcements, but one surprise stood out: linkedSignal will skip the experimental stage and enter developer preview directly.
Angular Camp
At Angular Camp, Alex Okrushko introduced the NgRx SignalStore from an interesting perspective. He explained that its strong functional design—not relying on classes—was the key to its extensibility. Meanwhile, Gerome Grignon presented on image optimization, sharing strategies to improve performance by optimizing media assets.
TypeScript 5.7 RC
Meanwhile, TypeScript 5.7 has reached the release candidate stage, signaling the feature freeze. It includes es2024 support with new methods like Object.groupBy, though these updates won’t significantly affect Angular development.
