A brief introduction:
I work in the European fintech space, on a platform that's an API of APIs that helps fintech businesses get off the ground quickly.
Even though my coding skills are pretty decent, I find that my real challenge starting out were mostly connected to my limited understanding of the financial industry as a whole. I've been bridging that gap by taking courses on financial markets, business models and technologies but I'd like to know from more experienced developers in the fintech space.
How did you get knowledgeable, and what would you say was the most important route to gaining this competence?
