Anyone can download snippets of codes and piece them together to create a program. In the cyber space(hacking), a Script Kiddie is an unskilled individual who uses scripts or programs developed by others to accomplish a task. However in programming, Script kiddies use open source projects and edit them to look like theirs. These individuals lack the skills required to create original programs and therefor turn to using other peoples code in their programs.
It's not totally wrong to use other people's code in your project, senior developers do it all the time but what is not right is using completely codes or projects from other people and presenting as your own.
Everybody is encourage to write write of their own and by so doing will master the at of coding and problem solving.
Javascript is a good way to start.
