Today it's up to an operating system, increasingly famous and used. We are going to unveil the Ubuntu (Linux) shortcuts. Although certainly this operating system can stand out for being one of the OS with which you can create your own shortcuts, in an easier way.

Keyboard Shortcuts
As you already know, these shortcuts can be very useful to perform your operations systematically and without the need of the mouse. These shortcuts will allow you to save time and effort when accessing specific functions of the program, which will lead to a considerable increase in your productivity.

It should be clarified that when the shortcuts are named "Super", it means the key equivalent to the one with the Windows symbol. Everything will depend on whether you have a keyboard for Ubuntu or for Windows.

Windows and work areas
Close current window: Alt + F4

Run a command: Alt + F2

Switch windows: Alt + Tab

Reverse switch window: Alt + Shift + Tab

Switch to the next window on the right: Alt + Tab + Right Arrow

Switch to the next window on the left: Alt + Tab + Left Arrow

View selected window: Alt + Tab + Down Arrow

Switch between selected application windows: Alt + `

Reverse switch window on selected app: Alt + Shift + `

Activation of workspaces: Super + s

Show all windows in the current work area: Super + w

Switch between workspaces: Ctrl + Alt + Arrows

Move current window to another work area: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Arrows

End session: Ctrl + Alt + Del

Hide all windows: CTRL + Super + D

Lock screen: Ctrl + Alt + L

Maximize the current window: CTRL + Super + Up Arrow

Move window: Alt + left mouse drag

Resize window: Alt + Middle mouse drag

Move window: Alt + F7 + Arrows

Resize window: Alt + F8 + arrows

Launch Terminal: Ctrl + Alt + T

Open HUD: Alt (flick)

Keyboard shortcuts using the SUPER key or the WINDOWS key which is the equivalent on a Windows keyboard.

Toggle back through apps in the launcher: Super + Shift + Tab

Select application defined by number: Super + (1 to 9)

Open a new application window: Super + Shift + (1-9)

Open the recycle bin: Super + T

Take a screenshot: Print

Capture current window: Alt + Print

Take screenshot of screen surface: Shift + Print

Copy screen to clipboard: CTRL + Print

Capture current window to clipboard: Ctrl + Alt + Print

Capture screen area to clipboard: Ctrl + Shift + Print

Using the console
Move the cursor to the beginning of the line: Ctrl + A

Move the cursor to the end of the line: Ctrl + E

Kill all processes: Ctrl + C

Send the current process to the background: Ctrl + Z

Exit: Ctrl + D

Find the last command that matches the letters entered. Ctrl + R

List the commands that start with those letters: Enter a few letters, then Tab + Tab

Delete the current line: Ctrl + U

Delete the word before the cursor: Ctrl + W

Clear terminal output: Ctrl + L

Copy: Shift + Ctrl + C

Paste: Shift + Ctrl + V

Command History: Arrow Up/Down
