Send automatic messages on WhatsApp

WhatsApp has two versions of its app for iPhone and Android. These versions are: WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. The first app is the standard one and has fewer features than WhatsApp Business. However, any user can make use of the second one and take advantage of its functions, such as the possibility of programming automatic responses in WhatsApp chats.

Whatsapp allows you to configure and send automatic messages
The WhatsApp app for business is identical to the standard app that the vast majority of users use on both their Android and iPhone devices. But it is that in addition to the fact that the interface is identical, it also includes multitudes of extra functions that although they are focused on business, the truth is that any user can use them. Also do not forget that the app is totally free and allows you to use it without losing your tokens and data from your standard Whatsapp app.

For example, if you want to send automatic messages to contacts who write to you in a chat, you can do so. For example, imagine that you are in a meeting or just sleeping. Well, we can configure a message that will be sent automatically to any chat in which you receive a WhatsApp message; for example, with the text: I am in a meeting as soon as I can I will answer you.

Therefore, if you want to automatically reply to WhatsApp messages from your iPhone or Android , in this tutorial you will learn how to do it:

How to configure and send automatic messages in WhatsApp chats for Android or iPhone
As we have said, the first thing to do is install the free and official app on your phone: Whatsapp Business

Once installed, open the app and you will see how as soon as you open it and accept the conditions of use, you will be offered the automatic migration from the standard Whatsapp app to the negotiation one WITHOUT LOSS OF ANY DATA, CHAT, PHOTOS, VIDEOS, etc.

When you are inside WA Business you will see all your chats in an identical way to the standard one.

Here you have to go to the section: Settings.

Next line you have to select the option: Tools for the company

Click on the option: Absence message (Answers automatically when you are absent)

On this last screen you will have to activate the option: Send absence message.

As soon as you activate it, the function settings will be displayed:

Schedule:
Always send: You can indicate that the automatic message is always sent to all received messages.
Outside of business hours: If you have business hours set up, push messages will only be sent automatically outside of business hours.

Custom Schedule: This feature allows you to send automated messages at a specific time.
Address:

All: Automatic messages will be sent automatically to all users who send you a message through any of the WhatsApp chats

Those who are not in the contact book: You will send the automatic message only to the contacts in the list of your device. A WhatsApp message from a user that you do not have saved in your contact list will not receive the automatic message.

Everyone except...: You can create a list of exceptions to whom the automatic message will not be sent.

Send only to...: This is the most precise option since it allows you to specifically select contacts to send an automatic message to if you receive one of their messages through WhatsApp chat.

Message:
In this text editing box you can write the automatic message that you want to be sent by WhatsApp in case you receive a message through the chats.

Once the function is configured, everything will be completely ready and the automatic messages will be sent according to said Setting .
