Third participation as contributor for Hacktoberfest

Intro

I am Tom, live in The Netherlands. For a living I work as a software developer / technical specialist for a company that delivers a complete suite for the Dutch and Belgian law enforcement agencies.
As this is my third participation in the yearly Hacktoberfest event I am a more experienced user and already and familiar with the event.

Intro

This list was originally a clone of StackOverflow - List of Freely Available Programming Books with contributions from Karan Bhangui and George Stocker.

The list was moved to GitHub by Victor Felder for collaborative updating and maintenance. It has grown to become one of GitHub's most popular repository.

The Free Ebook Foundation now administers the repo, a not-for-profit organization devoted to promoting the creation, distribution, archiving, and sustainability of free ebooks. Donations to the Free Ebook Foundation are tax-deductible in the US.

How To Contribute

Please read CONTRIBUTING. If you're new to GitHub, welcome! Remember to abide by our adapted from Contributor Covenant 1.3 Code of Conduct too (translations also available).

because I think that free information about tons of topics about good software design, how-to stuff etc. should be free.

PR's

Growth

My particular skillset was not greatly improved as I contributed to a relatively simple repository. No real code changes were involved. Next year I want to contribute to a more complex repository.
