2. Methodology

Our system comprises the following core modules:

2.1 Sensor Data Acquisition and Preprocessing:

We integrate data from various sensors including pressure sensors, temperature sensors, vibration sensors, flow rate meters, and actuator position sensors. Raw sensor data undergoes preprocessing: outlier removal using Z-score analysis, normalization using min-max scaling, and noise reduction using Kalman filtering.

2.2 Bayesian Sensor Fusion:

A Bayesian Network (BN) is constructed to model the probabilistic relationships between sensor data and valve failure events.
