How to Check If Your IP Address Has a Fraud Problem

Ever wondered why certain websites randomly block you, payment systems flag your transactions, or streaming platforms deny you access — even though you did nothing wrong?

The answer is almost always your IP fraud score.

Every IP address on the internet carries a hidden reputation. If your IP was previously used for spam, abuse, or suspicious activity by anyone — even a previous user of the same ISP — your fraud score gets affected. And you would never know unless you actually check it.

I use TrustMyIP's IP Fraud Checker for this. It shows your IP Trust Score and IP Fraud Score instantly — no account needed, completely free.

It also tells you whether your IP is flagged as a VPN, proxy, Tor exit node, or datacenter IP — which are common reasons why websites silently block users.

If your score is high, the tool helps you understand exactly why so you can take steps to fix it.
