This discussion was inspired by an article I recently read.
The author shared a “top coins for traders in 2026” list based on community polls - not fundamentals, not on-chain data, just what people voted for.
The final roster: XRP, ETH, SOL, WBT, ZEC, ADA, XMR.
- blue-chip smart contract plays (ETH, SOL, ADA)
- centralized exchange coin (WBT)
- privacy veterans (ZEC, XMR)
- and XRP, because apparently it never leaves any list. Ever 😅
So here’s what I want to discuss 👇
- If you had to build an active trading portfolio only from these 7, how would you split it?
- Which one is pure narrative hopium, and which has actual structural demand behind it (fees, staking, real users)?
- Are privacy coins like XMR/ZEC still worth the regulatory headache from a trader’s perspective in 2026?
Drop your allocation, your thesis, or just the coin from this list you’d never touch and why.
Curious to see if the dev/trader crowd here thinks differently from the poll warriors 🚀
