I'm Hakan, a frontend developer from Istanbul. Really glad to be part of this awesome community! I studied English Language Teaching (ELT) at university. Meanwhile, I taught myself how to code and then started making websites for people.

Hi all, I started mashing together websites for local bands back in college (when HTML tables, slicing jpegs and iframes were all the rage) before moving more into graphic design/marketing roles.
I'm currently getting back up to scratch with HTML, CSS and have started learning JavaScript for the first time! I'm having a blast so far and looking forward to getting to know some of you.
