Hey all! Just joined Dev and I'm super excited I found it. I love being in a community that shares, teaches and uplifts and so far I've only seen good things.
I'm a beginner programmer currently learning Python for network automation which directly correlates with my career as a network engineer/general IT guy and C# to aid me in doing some game development for my own curiosity.
A bit of background about me. Dad, Husband, USMC Vet. I did nine years in the Marines as a IT guy, I did Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Wushu, and Chinese wrestling for about 7-8 years and I'm as much into fitness and nutrition as I am technology!
Please feel free to message me to talk shop or even game.
Glad to be here :)

Great to have you Frank!
Hi everyone 👋
I'm Hakan, a frontend developer from Istanbul. Really glad to be part of this awesome community! I studied English Language Teaching (ELT) at university. Meanwhile, I taught myself how to code and then started making websites for people.
Fast forward today, I'm currently doing a personal challenge in which I focus full-time on creating website templates using HTML & CSS & JavaScript and sell them online 😄 I hope to bring the unique perspective that I gained throughout my self-taught journey and share what I know/learned about all-things frontend.
Nice to meet you all, take care!

I'm currently in my industrial placement year at university and before that I was working part time at a student startup which I'll be coming back to in my final year in September.
I look forward to sharing some insight into my student journey but most importantly I want to connect with some awesome people on this site to share thoughts and opinions on a variety of web technologies!

Hi all, I started mashing together websites for local bands back in college (when HTML tables, slicing jpegs and iframes were all the rage) before moving more into graphic design/marketing roles.
I'm currently getting back up to scratch with HTML, CSS and have started learning JavaScript for the first time! I'm having a blast so far and looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Hi, everyone!
This is Matthew Miller, a dedicated Full Stack JavaScript Specialist having 7+ years of experience. Aiming to help achieve company goals in web development industry. Owned great knowledge of several libraries and frameworks based on JavaScript/TypeScript. Participated in an array of small to large projects in the past 7 years.

Thanks ✌
Hello, it's Khair. I am a new member on DEV. I am currently a Computer Science Student and I love exploring the software tech world. I am currently learning Web Dev and Game Dev.
Hey 👋
My name is Lou, i've been a developer for nearly 1.5 years now. I fell in love with front-end development and i feel that is my niche 🙂 I currently work for a hosting company and i develop on our hosting platform that we sell.
At the moment i'm trying to build up my skills, knowledge and network more with others in this world 🙂
I'm working on a personal website at the moment as well as put any little projects i've done onto my personal GitHub account.
Fun fact, i have a tortoise called Harry after the famous Harry Potter. He isn't magic unfortunately but he does have a mind of his own and likes to get stuck behind things while roaming around the house. (i may soon tie a balloon to him to help me when he gets lost 😂 )
Anyway, nice to meet you all 🙂

Hello World,
I'm a long in the tooth developer. The state of the global economy today is not as good as it could be, and concerns for the future are making me contemplate using my spare time to get into micro ISV or SaaS.
I hope to find like-minded friends along the way and a community that will help me stay focused on the deliverables!
Stay safe .*!
Hello world!
Mazen is here! I'm a software engineer as most of you👨💻😁
Mazux is my nickname since I heard the story why Linus Torvalds named his OS "Linux", and I kinda like the sound of it 😅 "Mazux" so nerdy 🤓, right?!
Beside my interests in technologies in general, my current focus now is on refactoring and its patterns in general. I will try to share some ideas I learned around this exciting topic of mine.
Also, one of the reasons why I ended up here actually, it's because lately I had the "burnt out" feeling, so I took a pause from programming and everything related to it.
Thankfully, now I feel it's the right time to move on, and I'm starting with small steps toward it again, and I'm thinking maybe sharing my experience about it may help me and hoping it may help someone else, and hoping I may get the support I'm looking for.
Take care everyone, 👋
Mazen
