Hello everyone. I am a Computer Engineering major IT professional with experience in Support. I recently took up interest in Cloud technology and studying to take my AWS Solution Architect certification exam. I hope I would meet members here who have taken the exam or preparing to take the exam so I can get some tips from them.

Hey there!
This is Adi. I read about the dev.to community on my feed recently, in the path of searching for professionals worth to follow on twitter. I want to reach out to people whom I can learn a lot from in the field of CS. During the past week I tried to browse through all the beginner friendly content of the site and I found the community quite friendly, especially since I don't have much experience with coding (I mainly grow apples and other eco fruits for a living πŸ˜†).
I have always been interested in the IT scene, even if being not more than the local computer guy you can always turn for help πŸ˜‰
Recently I had the chance to make an extensive travel to the other side of the planet and explore different cultures and visiting places I only read about before, which encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge the way I think about the world comparing to what I am accustomed to.
Anyway, part of this process, I decided to broaden my knowledge in the field of tech with the help of online course materials (Freecodecamp, CS50) which I am about to start and hopefully by the support of fellow learners and more experienced devs I could possibly meet here.
Even reading the articles and comments on this site made me wanna be part of this community.. so nice to meet you and keep up the good work πŸ™
Cheers 🌻

Hey all,

I'm Karl, a Senior Solutions Developer (basically, a customer-facing designer/developer) building the future of renewable energy purchase and management for corporate and industrial businesses.

I focus on designing and structuring the vision of the platform and leading the team to produce the vision. This involves a lot of design work, but also a good amount of real code prototyping to test out hypotheses but without connecting to real data or APIs etc.

Currently using HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript to do this, but starting to learn Vue as a way to bring more modularity and reusability, and ultimately improve how reactive our prototypes can be. I've experimented with these low-code prototyping platforms, but it's always felt like more work than actually sitting down and learning to correctly code something.

Anyway, tl;dr: hi! πŸ‘‹πŸ»
