Can someone summarise what's changed? Unfortunately, I'm visiting DEV less often than I'd like to, so I see it's definitely become a bit cleaner, but can't remember how it was. Actually, this is my first comment ever on DEV.

These days I do more Javascript and CSS and whatnot, and promote UX and accessibility.
I'm also wondering now why posts have a different "heart" icon to comments, and the "pulse" effect is only on posts. Since it's probably extra work to make them behave differently, it was probably a deliberate decision to keep them distinct. But I wonder why?

Nothing super major in terms of functionality but a lot of UI adjustments around the edges. It’s more polished and cohesive, we hope.

I think I'd like a toggle for comment preview on posts, unless that's already a thing

I got github's new UI update and when I refreshed dev.to I was confused after seeing dev.to's new UI immediately.
