In my personal opinion, I don't understand what your site is on first click.

Sure it is a personal website but I prefer a bit of direction into who you are, what you do, your strongsuits, and highlights of projects that you are proud of.

By the way, since you have a blog, why don't you show some articles on your homepage? I suggest you either show the most recent or the most impactful ones at the very least.

Oh, the large images on the home screen honestly didn't help at all and I used the hamburger menu instead.

Anyway those are my 2 cents. Sorry if I sounded a little bit harsh, good day!

thank you for your opinion. I don't know if I want everyone who visits my site to see these articles. (e.g some company who wants to hire me). As for big images I just like them. I know that they are not useful but they are a different style. What would you recommend instead of big images

Regarding your articles, I would suggest you remove them from your homepage all together. Because as I see it you have a blog section on your homepage and if you wouldn't want recruiters to see your writing don't put the link on your site. Make your articles unlisted, only people with the link can see your blog page.

Instead of big images, I recommend you showcase your products. Because assuming if someone wants to open your site they would be interested in you or your work. Don't make them click any more buttons to showcase your best work. Showcase your best work on your homepage (not all of your work).

Otherwise, the hamburger button page is already good. You can showcase your entire portfolio on separate pages if you want.
